Witches' Festival demo LP

Melody, anger and atmosphere in 9 unique tracks of metal music from the depths of the bright and dark side of consciousness. All of them seasoned with a pinch of irony taken from fairy tales and comics. Nothing is obvious in there.

The songs were recorded between May and September 2025. The guitar parts were recorded by Daniura. The percussion, bass guitar, and keyboard parts were played using digital/MIDI instruments. The vocal tracks were created using artificial intelligence.

Mixed and mastered in December 2025 by Daniura. All music composed by Daniura.
The lyrics are written by Daniura, except for the songs:

  • Mirror, which uses fragments of the fairy tale "Snow White" from Volume 1 of the Brothers Grimm's Fairy Tales (Wilhelm and Jacob), published in 1812.
  • Plague, which uses fragments of "A Litany in Time of Plague" Thomas Nashe's poem released in 1600.
  • Dziady, which uses fragments of "The Phantom" poem from the first part of Adam Mickiewicz's "Forefathers' Eve", published in 1860.
Album cover art was created by Sonia Wróbel.

Released January 1, 2026

Reception

  • "Extreme metal is celebrating a leap forward in excellence, embracing a more progressive approach and finding a unique style where rhythmic shifts, melody, guttural male vocals, and sweeter female voices converge to create magic. The style is perhaps very personal, and even within the extreme genre, it possesses a certain appeal that even detractors of extreme metal find appealing."
